The scene at the start is violent but it is essential to the plot and the 18 rating (or M in the US... I think) is there for a reason... I know... I'm 16... I have the game... yada yada... but I am well aware of the difference between a computer game and real life... I'm also aware of the difference between right and wrong... and I'm not so psychologically unstable I'd actually be encouraged by the scene to repeat it...<br /><br />The rating may only be a guideline but parents should realise if their kid can actually deal with the subject matter maturely not the games developers... So... media of the world... point your fingers at the parents if some "impressionable" (*cough*Psychotic*cough*) kid emulates something from a video game not the games developers. And how many kids do you see running around sewage pipes picking up coins from the ground and eating mushrooms? See... you would have to be psychotic to be influenced by a video game... Rugby four times a week appears to be the closest thing that resembles an "up-side"<br /><br />Gaming wise I beat Arkham Asylum... all riddles too... no help so I was pretty proud of myself for that... It's a good game... but when you complete it the challenges can get a bit stale... So I'll leave that until some new maps come out...<br /><br />Haven't seen any particularly good movies recently... Movies are like a minefield of shite hiding the gems at the centre... I have been unable to get to this metaphorical centre for a while now and have been met with disappointments... Making your own planet is a lot of fun and Stephen Fry's narration is a nice touch...<br /><br />Resistance Retribution was a big surprise though, that game is truely kickass. I came back to it and realised the solution was the simplest thing... unfortunately, half way through the second part of the question, I had the awful words: "Pens down". My heart sank... I hadn't played it in a while but I was at the end of Ch7 so, I decided to finish it.<br /><br />*Spoiler Alert*<br /><br />Cool ending, I must admit, but too easy. For a game that can be so challenging at times it felt a bit... simple. And it was kind of... I dunno... unspectacular... I was half expecting to chase Jack Knife across rooftops and have an epic fight but all you have to do is jump onto the helicopter.<br /><br />Having said that, I would love if a sequal were to be brought out.<br /><br />Anyway, I was playing COD4 and I was having a really bad game...<br /><br />I mean patheticly bad. Six kills, 22 Deaths.<br /><br />I'm not exactly a God of gaming, but even I'm better than that...<br /><br />hmm... guess it was just an off day...<br /><br />Anyway, at least the weekend is here.<br />Sometimes I think that school is just a waiting period for the weekend... lol<br />Now I can relax a bit.
